Payline has a dedicated SMS number, which is your connection to accepting mobile payments. You can SMS this number with your client's payment details. You will need to include the following info in our template SMS: Your merchant security PIN Your client’s mobile number, credit card number, credit card expiry date and the CVV number at the back of the card The transaction amount and the currency.
Once a transaction has been successfully processed, both you and your client will receive an SMS confirming a successful transaction. As a “good management” practice you must always make an imprint of the client’s credit card on a carbon paper invoice that you issue to the client, and obtain the client’s signature on it. You can make the imprint by using a pen and scratch over the front of the card.
