We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and the safety of your personal information, as well as that of your customers, at all times. Sensitive credit card information is treated with full confidentiality within a verifiably secure environment. Payline uses a highly secure encryption protocol to ensure that card information is safely processed. Our systems are certified by VISA and Master Card and undergo a stringent audit every year. Personal Information We will never disclose merchant information, personal or business related, or information about a merchant’s managers, staff or members, or any information about a merchant’s customers to any third parties that are not included in the services agreement. We assure you that we do not collect personal information from you or your customers for any other reason but to conclude the transaction process as per our agreement with you. All personal information or e-mail addresses submitted on our application forms, or during any transaction process, are secure and confidential.
Service agreements If you choose to use our services, we will request certain information from you. We may require your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, bank references, bank account information, IP address, and/or personal identification number. This information is managed by a strict set of confidentiality guidelines and implemented by Payline, in compliance with legal and banking requirements.
Processing payments If you use the Payline payment gateway for online transactions, we may provide your personal information to the appropriate financial institutions (the acquiring banks). The use of personally identifiable consumer information is governed by law. The use and distribution of your and your customer’s personal information by such entities will be for their internal use only, to fulfill the transaction services for Payline, and will be kept confidential. The information will be transferred between Payline and the acquirers (acquiring banks) only, via encrypted means.
Correspondence We always respond to any e-mail questions, requests for product or service information, and other support queries we receive. We may also retain this correspondence to improve our products, services, and for other disclosed purposes. We also send updates or other important information about our services and products to any contacts you choose to specify.
If we are required to disclose by law If we are required by law to disclose certain information to any law enforcement authority, we will do so only in consultation with the merchant and our lawyers.
